Upstairs bedroom: (beautiful hand-crafted double sized log bed), shower

Downstairs: living room/kitchen-diner, washroom

Small dining table/chairs and a sofa that pulls out to a double-bed (for a 3rd/4th person)

Equipped with TV/DVD-VCR and radio, extensive DVD library, upstairs radio/CD player, microwave oven, stove, fridge/freezer, and all regular appliances i.e. coffeemaker, kettle, toaster, mixer, juicer etc. Computer (with wireless internet access). Assortment of indoor /outdoor games and books. The cabin is equipped as a normal home on a smaller scale

Heating is electric baseboard. Air Conditioner and fans are provided

Barbecue (propane) and patio table (with parasol)/chairs, a small herb garden by the barbecue and a fire-pit

Linen/bedding/towels, cutlery, pans, wok, fondue set, dishes etc. all provided - just bring personal items and groceries etc.

Parking for 2 cars

We provide a complimentary starter package of milk, sugar, a variety of teas, coffee, margarine, bread, salt and pepper and seasonings, paper towel and toilet tissue

Laundromats available in nearby towns

Watch the sun setting as you sit by the fire pit

Well-behaved family dogs are welcome - by arrangement

Local Attractions: The Bruce Trail is a favourite with many of our cabin guests and can be accessed in very close proximity; bike/hike; trail riding; golf courses; within 20 minutes from Meaford and Owen Sound/Georgian Bay; fishing; bird watching; Collingwood and Blue Mountain Ski Resort and Scenic Caves (approx. 30 to 45 minutes drive away) for many activities both winter and summer, including downhill, x-country skiing and snowshoeing, snowmobiling, nature trails; explore the area provincial parks; browse antique stores; enjoy the many goods to be found at farmers markets, theatre, music festivals, arts and craft studios (the area is known for its diverse artistic community) and wine and dine in the many excellent restaurants, pubs and eateries in our area.

The wood-framed cabin sits on a corner of a 50 acre property, consisting of pasture, bush, and gardens.
